MTN Rolls Out New Night Data Plans: Get 1GB For N200 or 5GB For N1000

Since the beginning of May 2016, MTN has released overt 4 different data packages referred to as MTN Surprise, they are not done yet as they roll our new data plans for night surfers.

MTN is here again with another fabulous night data package which serves as a better alternative to the new MTN 500MB for just N25 midnight plan they launched recently.

Whatever you use the data bundle for, live streaming, heavy download, normal download etc. MTN got you covered with suitable data packages. No more paying N2,500 for 4.5GB night and day plan.

Below are the new introduced night data plans;

» 1GB Night Plan, (9PM – 6AM) Cost N200
» 2.5GB Night Plan, (9PM – 6AM) Cost N500
» 5GB Night Plan, (9PM – 6AM) Cost N1000

To Subscribe for any of the above night plans, Simply dial *198# >> Choose 2 and then 8.

Each of the plan valid for 30 days.

This should serve as an alternative for those who can’t wait till midnight for MTN 500MB of N25 (12:00am – 4:00am), then you can go for this new better plan that is suitable for the whole.

2. Hidden Battery Power

Your mobile will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery.

This reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time.

3. Make your phone snappy with faster animations

One of the most common complaints about Android is “lagginess.” For whatever reason Google has never been able to get Android on the same buttery smooth level as iOS or even Windows Phone. In the last few versions they have made some serious improvements, but if you still feel like your phone is a little laggy there is a trick for speeding things up. Google has hidden some secret developer options inside the Settings. Inside the secret developer options is settings for animation and transition speed. Here’s how to speed things up.

– Open Settings > About phone
– Scroll down and tap on “Build number” 7 times
– Now go back to Settings and you should see new “Developer options”
– Adjust the window and transition animation scales to .5x or turn them off completely

4. Locate and wipe your lost phone

Losing your phone is one of the worst things that can happen. These devices contain sensitive information and private data. If your phone falls into the wrong hands it could put you in a world of trouble. There are apps you can download to help in the event of a lost phone, but in order for them to work you need to have them installed before something bad happens. – Double-check to make sure Android Device Manager is installed
– Go to google.com/android/devicemanager
– Select your phone from the menu
– Now you can see the location, ring it, lock it, or erase it

Meet Marvy Tiger or Nigeria’s own Michael Jackson as he prefers to be called. Tiger was the star attraction during the MTN Project Fame Auditions held recently in Abuja.

Marvy Tiger…sorry Nigerian Michael Jackson, was one of the thousands that thronged the venue for the auditions that held at the National Centre for Women Development, Abuja, to try their Luck in MTN Project Fame competition.

By his dressing style that was all glitz and in multi-colours, Tiger stood out as the star to look out for at the audition. Whether this was going to go south or wow everyone was all a matter of time would tell. And finally, the moment we all looked forward to came, with Tiger mounting the stage for his audition drill. Perhaps, as expected his performances was the height of the audition’s comic relief that stunned the judges.

His moon walk moves and breaking dance got everyone’s rib cracking. Indeed the coming of Marvy Tiger to audition in Abuja was more than the icing of the cake, it was the resurrection of Micheal Jackson. more photos below;

The beautiful wife of singer Paul Okoye, Anita took to her Instagram to reveal that she quit her 9-5 job earlier this year in order to embark on new personal projects.

“Changes. This quote resonates with me because, at the beginning of 2016, I found myself unfulfilled in my 9-5.” she writes.

“Life was a bit robotic, mundane, I felt limited. I never knew I would be an entrepreneur, but I knew I didn’t want to be sitting behind a desk all day.
The creative in me wanted some shine and I had to answer.

Quitting my job, was a huge risk, financially and psychologically.
I swapped my high heels & Blazers for sneakers and hard hats.

StarBoy’s Latest Ghanian Signee Mr Eazi Opens Up On How He Met Wizkid

Fast-rising Ghana based Nigerian singer, Mr Eazi, whose real name is Tosin Ajibade, has revealed that meeting Wizkid was made possible by other Ghanaian artistes like R2bess and Efya.

Mr Eazi, who recently was signed on to StarBoy Worldwide owned by another Nigerian singer, Wizkid, said they treated him like family after hearing his songs.
”I had known R2bees from way back when I used to be into events and so I remember my first set of songs, I sent it to Mugeez, and he told me that it was dope. Since then, R2bess were worrying me to put out the songs even though we hadn’t started putting them out. they were like guy whats wrong with you? put out this music, so they became from client to family.
“I used to go to their house to chill. Then, they are also family with Efya, and after the songs, I and Efya became friends, we talked almost everyday and we were like a family, the family extends to Wizkid.

So it was more like meeting the other part of the family. So, it’s just like you met your brother.”

The singer along with R2bees and Efya, were signed to StarBoy Worldwide in May, 2016.
